As a lecturer at the University of Montreal for 19 years and an experienced speaker, Dr. Tremblay has a passion for teaching and sharing her love for medicine. In her roles as the Medical Director of the Maison de Soins Palliatifs de Laval and as a physician at Montreal’s Sacré-Cœur Hospital, she has supported thousands of patients, alleviating their suffering while providing invaluable care and comfort to their families.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Tremblay demonstrated her unwavering commitment to the medical community by developing an innovative respiratory distress protocol. This protocol was adopted by physicians across Quebec to ease the suffering of end-of-life patients affected by the disease. This extraordinary achievement earned her the Medal of the National Assembly, a testament to her exceptional dedication and contribution as a physician during the pandemic.
